Quinn, I needed this! Thanking the Lord for your experience, wisdom, and willingness to share them. With my eldest on the heels of turning 15, and only homeschooling for 4 years, I’ve been struggling as to how to shift my approach with him and education. We’ve followed the CM curriculum and have loved the framework it’s provided, but the nitty gritty ins-and-outs of “daily operations” is where I feel a bit in the weeds. 🙃 I look forward to hearing more! 🙌🏼

And from the feedback I get from my oldest, a shift away from Charlotte Mason is a good thing... His next in line sibling is 5 years younger then followed by a fast stack of littles. Charlotte Mason was a perfect fit for and the younger crowd but he hated it the older he got. I adapted but, of course, the younger kids noticed and missed the CM areas I compromised on. 😆 Can't win for losing. I'm so thankful you found this helpful! Merry Christmas!! 🤗

SIDE NOTE: While chatting with my mom over Christmas she confirmed everything I said... and added that it is happening to her all over again now that dad has retired. 😆 Fair warning for us all in the future or you boss moms out there wanting to bring your husbands home.
